A 1930s northwest Persian runner of Surahani design.
Dark blue field with some abrash, giving a pleasing variation of dark and lighter blues. Ivory outlined linked medallions in pole medallion form; terracotta main border of spaced medallions within octagons; pale blue boteh guards.
Slight wear in places with some corrosion to dark browns. Intact woven ends but some loss to fringes.
