A magnificent 1930s Heriz carpet from northwest Persia. Pink/light terracotta field with dark blue large centre medallion; ivory and dark blue spandrels; all over angular floral design; dark blue main border; pale gold boteh inner guard; pale gold trailing leaf outer guard; pale blue inner floral guard. Overall soft palette.
Small areas of old moth damage to upper right outside edge, slight wear in places and loss to ends but overall good, even pile and good condition.
This is a great furnishing piece at a great price.
