A beautiful antique 1920s Kurdish runner from north west Persia.
Dark blue field with all over design of flowering plants, each with a cascade of tiny flowerheads to each side. Ivory trailing vine main border within pale apricot and dark blue floral guards.
Evenly low pile with some wear in places and losses to ends. Fabric tape to each end verso.
